On Thursday 11th August, Gordon was booked by CBBC (Children's BBC) to entertain at the competition winners tea party. The competition "Potty About Books" was won by a young girl called Gale, who was invited to the BBC with nine of her friends. The party was held in the Blue Peter garden, and was attended by several Blue Peter, and CBBC presenters.
Live links were broadcast direct from the garden with the children, and Gordon. Footage was also taken by a second unit, to be compiled into a 90 second overview, which was broadcast the following day on BBC 1, and also the CBBC channel.
