Standard Terms For All Bookings
Variances
No modification, additions or deletions to these conditions shall be effected by the client’s official forms or otherwise, without the written consent of Gordon Drayson.
Fee
The fee for the entertainment is payable in cash or by BACS on completion of the entertainment. Cheques can be accepted by prior arrangement, made out to Gordon Drayson.
Booking Fee
A booking fee will usually be payable at the time of booking with the balance due on, or before the day unless otherwise stated overleaf.
Cancellation
Should a client decide to cancel the entertainment with less than 14 days notice, then the full fee, less estimated travelling costs shall become payable. If 14 or more days, but less than 30 days notice is given, then a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the fee shall become payable. In the event of another booking being accepted for the same time and day after notice of cancellation is received, the cancellation fee will be returned less a small administration fee. Cancellations with at least 30 days notice are accepted, subject to a small administration fee. Our administration fee is limited to £6. Any cancellation will be deemed to have happened on the date we receive notice of it from you but we will only be able to formally accept it upon receipt of all monies payable under these conditions. A booking cancellation can not under any circumstances be accepted on an answerphone, by email, internet message services or by text message.
Postponement
Should a problem arise which causes the client to postpone the entertainment, it will be rescheduled for a mutually convenient date, at no extra cost. The full fee will be payable at the time of the postponement and the new date would normally be on an available weekday, Monday-Friday, within the following 6 months.
Law
These conditions and any entertainment that takes place under them shall be governed, construed and shall take effect in accordance with the laws of England.
Feedback
If you are kind enough to give us feedback, then we may use it in our publicity. You agree to allow me to use your company name and logo (if applicable) in my publicity and promotion.
Video Recordings
You are welcome to record on video, only parts of the magic show, where the children are helping Gordon on stage. It is not permitted for any other parts of the show to be recorded. It is however possible to record the children during the show and during the games part of the party, so long as doing so does not, in the opinion of Gordon, affect the smooth running of the show or party. Due to certain copyright laws, and child protection, your recording must be for private viewing only.
Date, Time, and Venue
The entertainment will take place on the day, at the time and place set out in our written confirmation. If this is not to the client’s understanding then the responsibility is with the client to contact Gordon Drayson. An adult must be present in the same room at all times during Gordon’s performances.
Parking and Other Charges
To help Gordon provide the best possible service to you, we would be grateful if you could ensure a parking space is provided as close to the performing area as possible for use by Gordon. If there is a cost associated with parking or other charges, including, but not limited to the congestion charge and ULEZ, this will be passed on to you and added to your final bill.
